惊蛰 (Jīngzhé) Il risveglio degli Insetti


Il periodo  solare "Il Risveglio degli Insetti" segue quello dell'"Inizio della Primavera" e dell'"Acqua Piovana" ed  inizia quando il Sole raggiunge la longitudine celeste di 345 °. Termina quando il Sole raggiunge la longitudine di zero gradi. Si riferisce più spesso in particolare al giorno in cui il sole è esattamente alla longitudine celeste di 345 ° che quest'anno cade il 5 marzo.







Da questa data in poi la temperatura sale rapidamente, il "Risveglio degli insetti" si riferisce al terreno di svernamento degli animali dove al suono dei tuoni si risveglia l'attività degli insetti. 




(Jīng) significa spaventarsi, scuotere.


蛰 (zhé) significa ibernazione.  


惊蛰 (Jīngzhé) rappresenta la fine del periodo di ibernazione per mezzo dello scuotimento dovuto ai tuoni.



Il termine  惊蛰 (Jīngzhé) è in uso sin dal periodo Tang, mentre prima si usava l'espressione 啟蛰 (Qǐ zhé) "Il pungiglione" che simboleggiava lo stesso effetto dello scuotimento.


A Hong Kong  惊蛰 (Jīngzhé) è tradizionalmente il giorno in cui "Si picchia i cattivi" da festeggiare sul ponte Wanchai.
